FoodSocial was product engineering work I did before shifting the site toward a research profile. I keep this page as a record of that experience, but it is not part of my current academic focus.

• Engineered a real-time push notification system using web-push-php and Service Workers, APNs, Expo Notifications serving 20,000+ registered users.

• Spearheaded the development of a cross-platform mobile app with Expo and React Native, resulting in 3,000+ downloads within the first 3 months.

• Led the implementation of a comprehensive UI redesign serving over 3 million unique users across web, desktop, mobile browsers, and app, delivering a consistent, modernized user experience on all platforms.

• Fixed 100+ bugs across various features.

• Integrated Shopify's Storefront API to develop an on-recipe shopping experience, increasing shopping revenue by 200%.

• Integrated Instacart's Partner API to allow users to shop on-platform recipes through Instacart.
